Randl Partners establish new cooperation with Professor Petr Hůrka

As of 1 July 2023, the employment law team has been strengthened by Professor JUDr. Petr Hůrka, Ph.D., a prominent specialist in employment law. Professor Hůrka becomes an Of Counsel at our law firm and also an in-house lecturer at Randls Training.

Professor JUDr. Petr Hůrka, Ph.D., is a recognized expert on employment law not only in the Czech Republic but also in Europe. His name carries weight and we are proud to have the opportunity to meet with him regularly and consult not only the possibilities but also the impossibilities in our field, to which we devote our and his professional life. This expansion of the team is a great honour for us.

Professor Hůrka teaches labour and social security law at the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in Brno and the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague. He is a member of the Legislative Council of the Government, the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University and the Editorial Board of several Czech and international professional law journals. Mr. Hůrka is also involved as a mediator and arbitrator in collective labour disputes.

Petr Hůrka has published more than 100 articles and publications in national and international law journals. He regularly participates in professional conferences and discussion programs on human resources relations. He has contributed to many monographs and textbooks and lectures at training courses for clients, the general public in the Czech Republic and the European Union and at law schools in the Czech Republic.
