Amendment to the Labour Code in bullet points

In April, the government approved the long-awaited and much-discussed amendment to the Labour Code, which aims to transpose the EU Directives on transparent and predictable working conditions in the EU and on work-life balance and the Directive on certain aspects of the organisation of working time. However, apart from the transposition itself, the amendment also takes into account other changes, such as regulations on working from home. The proposal is currently being debated in the Chamber of Deputies under Print 423. The aim of this article is not to analyse the proposed changes in detail, but to give the reader an overview of the main changes.
